Went to recce the walk at the Cartshed woodland site today. We have kindly been lent the use of the land by the owner of the farm who is a trustee and central figure of the Cartshed. Feel so lucky to have access to this beautiful spot of land. The walk will take people through willow beds, forest, a ‘memory garden’ with beautiful oak carved benches and saplings surrounding them, over a small stream via a rickety wooden bridge, then back to a camp fire which has a canvas canopy to keep people dry as well as a well-equipped outdoor kitchen to provide tea and biscuits for the walkers.
